Carpentry Assistant

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Carpentry Assistant to support our framing and siding crews on residential construction projects!

Carpentry Assistant Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 20.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:30pm)

• Assist carpenters with residential framing, siding, and general construction tasks.
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials under the direction of lead carpenters.
• Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and equipment.
• Help install siding materials, including vinyl, wood, and fiber cement products.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other construction equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site throughout the workday.
• Perform general labor duties and support crews as needed to keep projects on schedule.

Carpentry Assistant Qualifications:

• Previous construction, carpentry, framing, roofing, or siding experience required
• Ability to read tape measures, use basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required in order to get to job sites
