Job Description
Electronic contract manufacturer located in Carlsbad is seeking experienced Soldering Technicians for 1st shift.
The ideal candidate must read and understand given instructions. Must have the ability to work well in an assembly line as part of a team. Individual will follow established procedures and guidelines to perform a variety of repetitive soldering tasks soldering on wires & cables and printed circuit boards.
Requirements:
· Excellent reading and verbal communication skills
· Must follow detailed instructions and work well in a team
· Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks
· Must be detail oriented and able to work efficiently
· 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment
· Must have at least 1-year experience soldering wire and cable and PCB
· Must be able to distinguish different colors and audible tones
· Knowledge of J-STD, IPC610, IPC620, and have hand-on experience using soldering hand tools
· Able to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions
· Class III experience preferred
