Gator Chrysler Dodge Jeep is seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team in Melbourne, FL. This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced technician that cares about the quality of their work and looking to make a positive change in their career, income and location. Busy shop, Plenty of work. Large Parts Inventory with dedicated service and parts personnel. Where other companies are cutting benefit packages, we keep looking to improve ours.

In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate at peak performance. You will work closely with our service department to deliver exceptional customer service and keep our clients’ vehicles running smoothly.

Service Technicians
Transmission Technicians
Diesel Technicians

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle concerns and repairs needed.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly handle tools and equipment.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Service Technician preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnosing vehicle issues.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Commitment to quality work and attention to detail.
• Good attitude and willingness to work
• General mechanical skills
