School Bus Driver

Illinois Central School Bus is now hiring school bus drivers in Coal City, IL. Our drivers have flexible hours and time off during school holidays. As a school bus driver at Illinois Central School Bus, you are not only an essential worker, but also a hero to children every day! We are looking for candidates who are responsible, love children, and are very reliable. We are your friends, family, and neighbors - come join our team! No experience necessary free CDL training! We will teach you to be a professional school bus driver.

We are proud to offer:

• $21.00 to $29.50 per hour for bus drivers (based on experience)
• Hire on now at our Wilmington location, represented by the Teamsters, for 24/25 wages starting at $20 up to $26.50 based on experience*
• Paid training*
• Paid weekly
• Flexible hours no nights or weekends required*
• Route hours guaranteed up to 5.5 hours per day when school is in session*
• Additional work hours available with field trips and charters
• Summer school routes available work year-round with school holiday breaks

As a school bus driver, your major responsibilities will be to:

• Safely transport passengers
• Assists students in the loading and unloading process

Qualifications:

• Good verbal communication skills
• At least 21 years old & hold a valid driver's license for at least 3 years
• Pass a background check, drug screen & physical
