GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
The counselor will collaborate with district staff, students, families, and the community to identify ongoing/emerging guidance and counseling needs of students. Coordinate and administer state-mandated exams. Serve as a liaison to the associate schools and facilitate career center enrollment procedures. The counselor will also be a member of the school Intervention Assistance Team (IAT).


SUPERVISOR: Craig Morgan


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must possess or be eligible to receive a valid Ohio teaching certificate/license in School Counseling.
2. Knowledge of computer and technology applications is preferred.


SALARY:
Placement on the teachers' salary schedule will be based on education, work, and teaching experience. The minimum starting salary will be at least $56, 339. The contract consists of 188 days the first year, 184 days thereafter.
