The Ruiz Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at McGovern Medical School, UTHealth Houston, seeks a BC/BE Retina Specialist to join its distinguished Cizik Eye Center due to increasing patient demand and rapid departmental growth. Candidates with a surgical focus are preferred, though candidates with medical interests will be considered.

• Serve high patient volumes across multiple clinical locations, including Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) Hospital
• Teach 16 residents annually, with 2-3 residents present in the clinic daily
• Mentor medical students interested in ophthalmology as part of your role
• Work in a well-equipped clinic with in-house imaging capabilities and recent renovations
• Tailor your clinical, surgical, and academic mix according to your interests
• Join a collegial multi-disciplinary team committed to clinical excellence and research
