Salon Assistant at Sharkey's Cuts for Kids Leawood, KS

Sharkey's Cuts for Kids is an upscale hair salon for kids ages 0-14. We're on a mission to WOW our clients from the minute they arrive. Our Salon Receptionist/Assistant should love to smile, have an upbeat attitude and outgoing personality with a commitment to provide an unforgettably fun and exciting haircut experience for each of our customers.

Some of the responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Greet all guests and offer friendly, prompt and exceptional service
• Manages the salon software, customer traffic
• Ability to educate clients on retail products
• Disinfect all the store equipment and keep the store clean and tidy
• Blow up balloons for our balloon tree!
• Keep retail shelves stocked
• Assist in salon marketing activities and take pictures/videos
• Assist kiddos in selecting a charity to donate to
• Print photos and complete certificates for 1st haircut packages
• Ensure each kiddo leaves happy, with a balloon, glam ring, lollipop, and that parents are satisfied
• Comfortably ask for 5-star reviews from customers
• Weekend availability

• Previous customer service or salon experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
