Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Quality Engineer to support manufacturing quality operations, continuous improvement initiatives, supplier quality, auditing, and corrective action programs within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in quality systems, PFMEA, control plans, auditing, root cause analysis, and lean manufacturing .
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Support quality operations within assigned manufacturing value streams
✅ Develop and maintain quality systems, inspection plans, and process controls
✅ Perform root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
✅ Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
✅ Analyze quality trends, cost-of-quality metrics, and statistical data
✅ Support APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, control plans, and document control activities
✅ Partner with production teams to improve manufacturing quality and process reliability
✅ Participate in failure investigations and corrective action processes
✅ Interface with customers, suppliers, and audit teams as required
✅ Support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
✔ 2+ years of Quality Engineering experience
✔ Experience with:
✔ Strong communication and project management skills
✔ Ability to work effectively on the manufacturing floor with production teams
✔ Experience using statistical and analytical quality methods
Preferred Qualifications:
➕ Aerospace or Automotive manufacturing experience
➕ ASQ Certification
➕ Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience
➕ Experience with ISO9001, QS9000, or IATF/TS16949 systems
➕ Gage Repeatability & Reliability (GR&R) experience
