Ferco is looking for a qualified NDT Inspector to join our growing team. FPI Inspector inspects in-process aerospace components for accuracy under black light. The ideal team member will be a self-starter with proven experience working as an Inspector in the aerospace manufacturing sector. This position is a full time on 1st shift. Key Responsibilities Perform non-destructive visual evaluation of surface defects of brazed, welded, and formed precision aerospace parts using fluorescent penetrant per applicable customer specifications. Clean and preparation of parts, followed by visual inspection under black light using fluorescent penetrant liquid. Must be able to work from complex and detailed blueprints and/or verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision. Ability to multi-task Good work ethic Willing to learn Other Ad hoc duties as required Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Aerospace Industry experience preferred Physical Demands Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time on a daily basis Able to bend, twist, turn, carry, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, etc. Able to successfully pass vision screens Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects. Schedule Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30pm w ith overtime possible daily and Fridays Eligibility Requirements This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology.
