The lifeguard role at Greystone Golf & Country Club is responsible for supervising the aquatic facility and/or aquatic activities to ensure the safety of all those involved. The lifeguard also maintains all areas in and around the Aquatics Facility.
Essential Functions:
Respond with urgency and accuracy to aquatic emergencies
Provide proper medical care within the scope of training
Know & enforce all aquatic rules, procedures, policies, and guidelines
Maintain constant surveillance of water and pool deck areas
Take and record chemical readings
Maintain cleanliness of Aquatics facilities
Assist in daily pool cleaning facilitated by pool maintenance
Address member needs and concerns with urgency and care
Report issues and violations to supervisors
Handle equipment as assigned
Take ownership of the pool and responsibilities
Secure the facility at the close of business & and inspect when reopening
Report injuries to supervisor and fill out the required and appropriate forms
Maintain knowledge of and promote Club programs and membership
Perform a check of all safety/emergency equipment at the start of a scheduled shift
Compensation details: 14 Hourly Wage
