Overview The Junior Accountant role will support the Company’s financial reporting, accounting operations, and growth initiatives. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, assisting with audits, and collaborating with other corporate departments to ensure transactions are properly recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP. This would be a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career. Must have clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities Perform general ledger accounting activities, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations. Participate in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Support the annual financial audit. Maintain up-to-date financial records and prepare ad-hoc financial reports as needed. Assist with quarterly reviews, interim and year-end external audits. Special projects and other assigned duties. Essential Skills And Competencies Experience with general ledger reporting systems and financial statement preparation In-depth understanding of account reconciliations and GAAP principles Understanding of debits and credits supporting recorded transactions Proficiency in MS Excel and Office Suite Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and accountability Effective time management and organizational skills required to adapt to changing priorities and evolving business needs Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to recommend solutions to identified issues Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Education Or Certification Required Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Candidates with general business degrees and a concentration of accounting courses will be considered. 0-4 years of experience in accounting or finance.
