Role Description

The Barista will be part of the Nude Miami beverage bar team, with a focus on preparing high-quality coffee drinks with consistency, speed, and care. This role is ideal for someone who loves coffee, hospitality, wellness, and creating a polished guest experience.

The Barista will be responsible for preparing espresso drinks, cold brew, specialty coffee beverages, and seasonal drinks to Nude Miami’s recipe and presentation standards. This person should understand espresso preparation, milk steaming, drink building, flavor profiles, and how to create a consistent, elevated drink every time.

While coffee will be the primary focus, this role will also be cross-trained across the full beverage bar, including matcha, smoothies, cold-pressed juices, frozen yogurt, baked goods, and general guest experience. This is a hands-on, fast-moving role for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and excited to help build Nude Miami from day one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee drinks to Nude Miami’s recipe and presentation standards
• Pull espresso shots, steam milk, and build hot and iced beverages with consistency and care
• Support the preparation of cold brew, specialty coffee drinks, seasonal drinks, and functional wellness beverages
• Assist across the beverage bar, including matcha, smoothies, juices, frozen yogurt, and baked goods
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked beverage stations throughout each shift
• Restock ingredients, prep items, cups, tools, and supplies as needed
• Provide a warm, knowledgeable, and polished guest experience
• Help customers choose drinks based on taste, dietary preferences, and wellness goals
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
• Communicate prep needs, inventory shortages, and equipment issues to management
• Support opening, closing, and cleaning procedures as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in beverage preparation, particularly with coffee, espresso, or cafe drinks
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards
• Passion for wellness, health-conscious living, or sustainable practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining product quality
• Previous experience in hospitality, cafes, coffee shops, or similar roles is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in food safety or barista training are a plus
• Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays
• A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to work well in a team
• Interest in being cross-trained across matcha, smoothies, juices, frozen yogurt, and baked goods

Compensation

Competitive hourly pay + pooled tips, based on experience.
