Position Summary:

The Accountant II is in charge of various accounting and finance duties including: Accounts Payable, invoice processing, and files keeping. This key individual also provides support for other duties determined by the Finance Department.

Essential Functions :

1. Receives supplier invoices and verifies supporting documents and codifications.
2. Manages information logs and file keeping.
3. Processes stop payments.
4. Complies with all guidelines established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) and guidelines set forth by other regulatory agencies, where applicable.
5. And all other duties assigned by the manager and/or supervisor.

Education :

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Experience:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounts payable; experience in healthcare preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounting preferred.

Knowledge:

• Knowledge in accounting principles.
• Knowledge and experience with Access, Great Plains and Billing Programs.
• Proficient with Citrix Applications.
• Personal computer experience should include working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook at the intermediate level at a minimum.
