Workers Compensation Attorney

Established (22+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney for Workers' Compensation Defense Litigation in Remote, CA

An established firm with over 22 years in practice is seeking a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney with 5-6+ years of experience to join their team in a remote capacity. This role focuses on workers' compensation defense matters , offering a modern, high-tech environment with a collaborative and genuinely enjoyable firm culture. Attorneys will manage a lower caseload while working with sophisticated clients and will attend mandated hearings at the WCAB in California as required.

Salary range: $140,000-$200,000+ contingent on experience and billables

Qualifications
Active and good standing membership with the California State Bar
Minimum of 2+ years of workers' compensation defense experience
Strong litigation background with comfort handling hearings and case strategy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desire to further develop expertise in workers' compensation law
Ability to travel to WCAB locations for mandated appearances

 

Responsibilities
Handling workers' compensation defense cases from inception through resolution
Appearing at WCAB hearings and managing all related litigation responsibilities
Advising and representing clients in compliance with California workers' compensation laws
Collaborating with colleagues in a team-oriented and technology-driven environment
Maintaining high-quality client communication and case management standards
