Job Overview
We are eeking an experienced Stage Manager for a new, live immersive tech show in SoHo, NYC.. This is a multi-room, audience-interactive experience combining performance, music, and environmental storytelling. The Stage Manager will serve as the central operational lead , calling the show and coordinating across performers, tech, and front-of-house.

This is not a traditional theater show . Ideal candidates are comfortable working in immersive or site-specific environments and managing live flow in real time.

  • Tech Rehearsal: April 22, 1pm - 10pm
  • Dress Rehearsal: April 29, 1pm - 10pm

Responsibilities

  • This is a contract role for a Stage Manager at StoryverseNYC, located on-site in New York, NY. The Stage Manager will oversee the coordination of all live performance aspects, including
  • Call the show (multi-room immersive environment to Ensure the seamless execution of lighting cues)
  • Build and maintain run-of-show + cue structure
  • Coordinate cast, PAs, and FOH staff
  • Manage timing, transitions, and audience flow
  • Organize & lead rehearsals alongside the Director
  • Collaborate with creative and technical teams
  • Generate rehearsal + show reports
  • Some minor pre-tech work including helping secure 3-4 PA’s
  • Support performers and crew to deliver an exceptional production

Skills

  • Stage management experience (immersive / site-specific a plus)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
  • Strong Organization Skills with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities
  • Understanding or background in Music and the Performing Arts
  • Bachelor's degree in Theater, Performing Arts, or related field, or equivalent professional experience is a plus
  • Comfortable operating without a traditional control booth
  • NYC-based or able to work locally
