Description The Position: Scarlet Oak Tavern is seeking a dynamic, experienced server/bartender. This hybrid role will work both floor and bar shifts, creating a memorable dining experience for our guests wherever they dine. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, knowledge of craft cocktails, wine and craft beer, as well as possess exceptional customer service skills and a positive attitude. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of hospitality work history, with at least 3 years bartending experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant. Responsibilities: Greet guests and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Take food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff using our POS. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner. Craft cocktails to exacting recipes (including proper technique) Check on guests frequently to ensure their needs are met and they are enjoying their experience. Provide recommendations for menu items and beverages. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of hospitality experience 3 years of bartending experience, with a focus on craft cocktails Excellent customer service skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately Ability to stand for long periods of time, carry a tray, and lift 30lbs Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Here is a snapshot of our amazing benefits!
