Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned SAP Functional Analyst to lead the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workstream for a strategic Finance Tax Engine Replacement initiative. This role is critical to delivering a compliant, efficient, and scalable solution leveraging SAP and Vertex Tax Engine integration . The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP tax configuration, procurement processes, and cross-functional system integrations .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workstream for the Finance Tax Engine Replacement initiative
• Drive design and implementation of SAP-Vertex Tax Engine integration
• Ensure tax compliance, accuracy, and scalability across procurement and finance processes
• Configure and support SAP tax determination and P2P processes
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Security, and Technical teams for end-to-end delivery
• Support transportation management and security role design as required
• Participate in SAP ECC implementation and administration activities
• Ensure adherence to enterprise security and governance standards
• Support data archiving and system integration requirements
• Provide functional leadership and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of SAP P2P and tax configuration experience
• Vertex Tax Engine expertise (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of SAP data structures and integration points
• Experience with SAP ECC implementation and administration
• Strong understanding of procurement, finance, and tax business processes
• Experience collaborating across cross-functional technical and business teams

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP Ariba
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA
• Experience with SAP archiving solutions
• Knowledge of SAP Security design and role building
• Experience in Transportation Management projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
