In this role, you will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects—including roadway, drainage, water, wastewater, and site development improvements. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, collaborate closely with clients and public agencies, and oversee all aspects of project execution to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions for communities across the region.

  • Lead and coordinate internal design teams, subconsultants, and client communications.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, design documents, construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Monitor project performance and implement quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Collaborate with municipal and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
  • Conduct site visits, attend project meetings, and provide engineering support during construction.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and technical staff, fostering professional growth and a collaborative work environment.
  • Participate in business development efforts, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and relationship management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Active Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
  • 6–10 years of progressive experience in public works or municipal infrastructure design and project management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and strong understanding of City of Houston, Harris County, and TxDOT design standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and schedules simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Client-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.

Why Join DCCM?
