Compensation: $100,000-$130,000 Base + Bonus Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands‑on sourcing leader with strong supplier management expertise, experience leading procurement teams, and a background in AS9100-regulated industrial manufacturing environments . They will bring a strategic mindset while remaining close to day‑to‑day supplier and operational challenges. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute commodity strategies that support business objectives. Lead supplier selection, qualification, performance management, and development activities. Conduct supplier business reviews, audits, and corrective action initiatives. Manage supplier negotiations, contracts, and cost‑reduction programs. Drive value engineering, supplier consolidation, and process improvement initiatives. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including capacity constraints, long lead‑time items, and supplier disruptions. Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Program Management to support production and new product introductions. Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and ethical sourcing requirements. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of buyers, sourcing specialists, and/or procurement professionals. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of purchasing, sourcing, or commodity management experience within an industrial manufacturing environment. Demonstrated people leadership experience managing procurement or sourcing teams. Proven success developing and executing commodity strategies. Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills. Experience leading supplier performance improvement initiatives. Ability to work cross‑functionally with operations, engineering, and quality teams. Highly Preferred Experience working within an AS9100-certified manufacturing environment . Knowledge of NADCAP requirements and regulated manufacturing supply chains. Aerospace, defense, precision manufacturing, or other highly regulated industry experience.
