Job Description

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in North Hollywood, CA, offering an engaging contract role within a school setting. This opportunity is ideal for professionals experienced in pediatric speech therapy, teletherapy, school-based services, or clinical fellowship year (CFY) assignments, as well as Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) with healthcare or school experience.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain CCC
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and techniques
  • Experience with individual education plans (IEPs) and AAC devices preferred
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address individual goals
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy to enhance speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions

  • Collaborate closely with educators, healthcare providers, and families to support comprehensive care
