Pediatric Neurologist

Opportunity Highlights
Join an academic pediatric neurology team in beautiful Charleston, SC
Practice general pediatric neurology with opportunities to teach and pursue research
Live and work in coastal Charleston, SC, with an excellent academic compensation plan
Work 4 days per week in an outpatient clinic, typically 8 am to 5 pm
See approximately 12 pediatric neurology patients per day with defined visit times
Share inpatient pediatric neurology service weeks every 5 to 6 weeks
Join a pediatric neurology faculty supported by 4 nurse practitioners and physician assistants
Practice at the new Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital with 24/7 video EEG monitoring
Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, including neurosurgeons, therapists, psychologists, and nursing staff
Teach in a 5-year ACGME-accredited Child Neurology Residency Program
Receive base salary, signing bonus, relocation assistance, and retirement options
Enjoy 22 annual leave days, 15 sick days, and 13 paid holidays
Qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness as an MUSC-employed physician
