About the Role:

Join our dedicated team at Red Top Wellness Center as a Mental Health Nurse for part-time night shifts. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients while working in a supportive and compassionate environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with mental health conditions during night shifts.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatment.
• Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
• Respond to crises and provide de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Educate patients and families about mental health resources and coping strategies.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Georgia.
• Experience in psychiatric nursing or mental health settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate demeanor and a passion for patient advocacy.
• Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as required.
• Knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
