Contract Licensed Professional Investigator (Baltimore Area)

About Us

We are a nationwide investigative support firm specializing in case management and advanced cyber intelligence. We partner directly with licensed Private Investigators to handle our clients' needs. In this partnership, you take the lead as the primary field investigator, while we support you by handling the administrative case management and providing deep-dive cyber and digital intelligence to bolster your field work. We are looking to build a long-term relationship with a highly reliable PI in the DMV area to lead cases in that region.

Role Overview

We are seeking a licensed Professional Investigator (PI) based in the Baltimore area to join our network on a contract (1099) basis. When a case is assigned, you will serve as the lead investigator on the ground, with the goal of completing the investigation. While you focus on what you do best—traditional investigating, surveillance, and field work—our team will operate in the background to fully support you with comprehensive case management and digital/cyber assistance.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead field investigator on assigned cases (typically focusing on individual matters such as infidelity or fraud).
• Conduct thorough, discreet, and lawful physical investigations, including surveillance, photography, and service of process.
• Collaborate with our internal support team, utilizing our cyber intelligence and case management resources to enhance your findings and streamline your workflow.
• Manage your field operations efficiently to ensure case objectives are met.

Requirements

• Valid Professional/Private Investigator License in Maryland,
• Ability to act with strict confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion.
• Strong communication skills to maintain alignment with our back-office case management and cyber support teams.

Contract Details & Compensation

• Job Type: 1099 Contract (As-needed basis)
• Pay Rate: $50/hour
• Important Note: As an independent contractor, you must be able to work on an as-needed basis, provide your own equipment, and carry your own professional liability insurance as required by Maryland.
