Responsibilities:

Company Description

RSCF's conservation model is built on a simple but powerful premise: captive expertise and field programs must work together. Our breeding center in Loxahatchee, Florida is not just a refuge, it is the foundation for reintroduction programs that are returning species to their native habitats right now.

The Rare Species Conservatory Foundation (RSCF) is a 501(c)(3) wildlife conservation nonprofit based on a 30-acre campus in Loxahatchee, Florida. For decades, RSCF has worked at the intersection of breeding science, field conservation, and public education to protect some of the world's most endangered species, including mountain bongo, lion tamarins, pygmy marmosets, and red-browed Amazon parrots.

Our team manages active breeding and repatriation programs that have returned dozens of animals to native habitats in Africa, sustains one of the only self-sustaining pygmy marmoset colonies in the country, and partners with international zoos, government agencies, and field conservation organizations across South America, Africa, and the Caribbean. RSCF holds a Candid Gold Seal of Transparency and is recognized for hands-on, science-driven conservation work that goes well beyond a typical zoo or sanctuary setting.

This is a place for someone who wants their daily work to have real, measurable impact on species survival, not just animal care in the abstract, but care that directly supports breeding programs feeding global conservation efforts. You'll work alongside a small, dedicated, mission-driven team that treats every animal as part of a larger recovery story.
