Job Description Fence Installer I (Apprentice / Entry-Level Installer)

Position: Fence Installer I Apprentice Installer

Full-Time | MondayThursday 4x10 Schedule | Friday Flex Day

Fence Brothers is hiring motivated entry-level team members who want to learn the skilled trade of professional fence and gate installation. This is an apprenticeship-style role designed for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and eager to build a long-term career in construction.

No fencing experience is required we will train the right person.

Role Summary

As aFence Installer I, you will work alongside experienced installers and foremen to learn the fundamentals of fence construction. Your job is to support the crew, stay productive, and develop the skills needed to grow into an experienced installer over time.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, using their hands, and being part of a strong team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of wood, chain link, vinyl, and ornamental fencing
• Carry and organize materials, tools, and hardware
• Support digging, concrete work, post setting, and site preparation
• Help maintain a clean and professional jobsite
• Learn proper use of hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment
• Follow instructions from the Foreman and work safely at all times
• Show up ready to work, learn, and contribute daily
• Has a valid drivers license

Requirements

• Valid ability to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn a skilled trade
• Construction experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule

• Standard workweek: MondayThursday (4x10s)
• Fridays are reserved for flex work, weather make-up days, or optional overtime

Pay & Growth

Starting Pay: Competitive hourly wage starting at $19/hr and rising to $32/hr
