Position Description Legrand is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Intern to join the Data, Power & Control Division's Starline Team in Canonsburg, PA. In this role, you will support the Operations department and contribute to meaningful E.H.S. projects while collaborating with experienced professionals. What Will You Do? Assist in creating Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) Assist in the completion of incident investigations and determining root cause analysis Participate in safety audits Provide project and administrative support as needed Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications Education: Currently enrolled in a Safety Sciences major Must demonstrate a positive approach and an interest in E.H.S. initiatives and processes Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Excellent written communication skills Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision and take initiative Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) Excellent communication skills Maintain confidentiality in all situations Personal Qualities/Behaviors: Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting, and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas, where certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses and mandatory hearing protection. Regularly required to stand, walk, and communicate with others.
