Job Title: Process Biller - Medical Billing & Coding
Location: Shreveport, LA
Pay: $16.00/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Benefits: Full Benefits Package

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Process Biller to join our medical billing and coding team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the healthcare billing field while working regular day shift hours and enjoying a full benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and submit medical claims using billing software
• Review patient records for accurate diagnosis and procedure codes
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
• Follow up on unpaid claims and denials
• Assist with correcting billing errors and resubmitting claims
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Knowledge of medical billing or coding is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding systems preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry
