About the role

Seeking a skilled mid-level DevOps Engineer to support our DIA Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) initiative. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Red Hat technologies, automation scripting, containers, and Kubernetes. This onsite role in Reston, VA offers an exciting opportunity to work with a high-performance team focused on scaling applications through automation and cloud orchestration.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain automation scripts to streamline deployment processes.
  • Utilize containers and Kubernetes to orchestrate and manage cloud applications.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate automation tools.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot automation and infrastructure issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in DevOps and automation technologies.

Job Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
  • Possession of Security+ certification or equivalent 8570 IAT Level 2 certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience with Red Hat products, especially RHEL (Linux), Ansible, and OpenShift.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Reston, VA.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with development and operations teams.
  • Commitment to staying current with DevOps and automation best practices.
