Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $21 - $21 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Carpentry Helper:
Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other construction materials
Load, unload, transport, and organize tools, equipment, and supplies
Prepare work areas by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and protective barriers
Clean and maintain job sites, ensuring safety and efficiency
Operate hand tools and power tools under supervision
Hold materials in place during installation and assist with framing, trim work, drywall, and other carpentry tasks
Clean up job sites, remove debris, and dispose of waste properly
Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Perform other duties assigned by supervisors or lead carpenters
Available Shifts:
Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)
Job Requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds and perform physically demanding work
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools preferred
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation to job sites
Previous construction or carpentry experience
