Work with the high school counseling department and content areas to ensure student transitions are seamless. Develop and utilize formative and summative authentic assessments, including use of standards-based assessment and reporting. Involve parents and communities in supporting student learning. Provide ongoing communication with families and the community. Engage in ongoing professional learning. Act as a liaison to communicate and support other colleagues in the K-12 system to promote relevant and authentic learning.
