BakerBake the favorites our guests love. At Chuck-A-Rama, our Bakers are behind some of the most-loved foods on our buffet. As a Baker, you'll prepare our famous rolls, scones, desserts, and other bakery favorites from scratch every day. You'll mix, prepare, bake, and finish recipes while making sure everything looks and tastes just the way our guests expect. Our Bakers are truly the heartbeat of our made-from-scratch kitchen. Most bakery shifts are daytime hours, typically around 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.What you'll do:A typical shift may include:Preparing our signature rolls and scones from scratchMaking cakes, cookies, pies, puddings, and other dessertsMeasuring, mixing, portioning, shaping, and baking according to Chuck-A-Rama recipesPreparing doughs, batters, fillings, toppings, and other bakery itemsMaking sure baked goods are fresh, consistent, and beautifully presentedPlanning ahead so bakery favorites are ready when the buffet needs themSetting up and stocking your workstationSafely operating and caring for bakery and kitchen equipmentKeeping your work area clean, organized, and sanitizedFollowing food safety, sanitation, and handling proceduresWorking with the kitchen team to keep fresh food coming throughout the dayWhat we're looking for:Great Bakers know that the little things matter. Following a recipe carefully, staying organized, and paying attention to timing can make the difference between something that's good and something guests can't wait to come back for. We're looking for someone who:Is at least 18 years oldEnjoys baking and working with foodCan carefully follow recipes and instructionsIs organized, dependable, and task-orientedPays close attention to quality and consistencyCan manage multiple recipes and tasks throughout a shiftCommunicates well and works as part of a teamIs willing to obtain a Food Handler PermitUnderstands the importance of food safety and sanitationCan safely lift up to 50 pounds to approximately table heightIs available for scheduled morning and daytime shifts, including some weekendsPrevious baking experience is helpful, but a willingness to learn, attention to detail, and pride in your work are just as important.Why you'll love working at Chuck-A-Rama:We want our team members to enjoy working here just as much as we want our guests to enjoy visiting us.
