Job Description

Assistant Property Manager (Community Manager) – responsible for day-to-day operations of our Dayton Single Family Home communities, including compliance, resident services, financial performance, and facility maintenance. Job Location: Dayton, Single Family Homes. Position Type: Full‑time; on‑call for emergencies. Pay Range: $21.00/hour. Responsibilities Attract new residents by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals from current tenants, explaining advantages of location and services, and showing units. Manage resident relations and proactively develop solutions for potential issues. Assist in achieving financial objectives by collecting rents, paying bills, forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances to develop strategies for optimal financial performance. Review rental applications and prepare/review all new resident paperwork. Schedule and supervise apartment turnovers. Assist in property marketing. Conduct outreach to local businesses to promote the community and build positive relationships among residents, vendors, and clients. Ensure physical condition of properties meets community standards and adheres to all Fair Housing laws. Benefits Eligibility for semi‑annual merit increases (January and July). Paid every Friday. Ability to analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. General math, reasoning, and problem‑solving skills.
