Position Title: Area Manager

Reports To: SVP, Operations
Status: Exempt

Position Overview

The Area Manager oversees multiple client sites, leading supervisors and front-line staff to ensure services consistently meet or exceed expectations. This role is responsible for client satisfaction, operational performance, team development, and budget management.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Client Management

• Ensure all sites meet contract requirements and service standards
• Maintain strong client relationships and address concerns proactively
• Conduct regular site visits and quality inspections

Quality & Service Delivery

• Enforce standard procedures, tools, and cleaning protocols
• Ensure staff are trained, properly equipped, and meeting expectations
• Resolve service issues with appropriate follow-up

Financial Oversight

• Manage payroll and site budgets
• Review timekeeping and control supply and equipment costs

Team Leadership

• Hire, train, and develop supervisors and staff
• Provide performance feedback and coaching
• Ensure HR documentation and processes are completed accurately

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable labor agreements
• Prepare and submit required reports

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience managing teams in a multi-site or operations environment preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
• Frequent walking, bending, and site inspections
• Regular travel between locations required
