This role involves providing interpretation services for in-person and both pre-scheduled and on-demand video appointments. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to facilitating effective communication and possess the necessary certifications. Key Responsibilities Provide ASL interpretation for clients during in-person and video appointments. Work with clients to ensure clear communication and understanding. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines of interpreting. Collaborate with other interpreters and professionals as needed. Stay updated on best practices and advancements in ASL interpretation. Qualifications RID (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) or BEI (Board for Evaluation of Interpreters) certification required. Experience in interpreting in various settings (medical, educational, etc.) is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours but hours of highest volume at 9am to 4pm PST Competitive pay at $35 per hour. Provision of necessary interpreting equipment. Note: Interpreters must live in Indiana and be willing to commute to occasional in-person jobs in the area.
