Keep up to date with developments in both ASL and English language to provide high‑quality interpretation. Requirements Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and a high level of proficiency in English. Certification as an ASL interpreter preferred, demonstrating your expertise in the field. Deep understanding of Deaf culture and the nuances of communication within that context. Ability to work well under pressure and juggle multiple assignments while maintaining focus and precision in interpretation.
