3-D Laser Scanning Technician (position level varies pending experience and qualifications) San Diego, CA We create highly accurate 3D as-built models to digitally visualize the built environment, of existing facilities in support of exciting rehabilitation and modernization projects. We create models for both Augmented and Virtual reality experiences. Projects range for medical centers, the reimagining of the retail mall space, underground tunnels, universities, world famous zoos, stadiums and arenas and to the facilities that support the public wellbeing: sewer and wastewater treatment facilities, power generation stations, storm drainage structures, and culturally significant facilities such as 100 year old churches, former world fair sites, and the worlds shortest railway to name a few.
